Well, it's the most impulsive thing either of us has ever done... this gorgeous grey kitty has been hanging around and seems to think that we belong to him. We've relented without much of a fight because, as the following video shows, Jeremy is in love with him. What could we do?!? Here is a cat that actually tolerates a baby's clumsy displays of affection (and dogs, btw), and is the friendliest, most mellow cat we've ever met. A neighbor has started calling him Colbert... what do you think?

PS- For those concerned and responsible citizens, yes, we contacted the local shelters, checked Craig's list and had him scanned for a micro-chip. No collar. Could he really belong with us...?
